My eyes burned and it was hard to breath I rolled out of bed when Marvin came in and grabbed me and helped me up. He was in panic and talking fast but I couldn’t make out a word from all the ringing in my head. As he walked keeping me up he kept stumbling. Was the floor still shaking? The lights are on now? What’s happening? I hear a pop in my head….Marvin places me in front of the pressure gauge and points to it. I stand up slowly and shake my head trying to clear the fog. I look down and the pressure gauge was all the way up and broken Hena and Belteic were yelling trying to fix and mess with the valves. “The millennia….is dying” I say quietly in all the noise yet every one stopped and heard what I said “ evacuate now…its…its gonna blow…we have to go…n..now” They stood for a moment not able to fathom what they heard out of my mouth. I wobbled over to my station and pressed the emergency button “H..Hena evacuate everyone miles away lets go…now!” They all nod and we stumble out the door people pushed and rushed to the door I struggled out to get away from them. I frantically went back to my room to put on my has mat suit and zippered up. This suit cant stand the radiation being thrown out but it gives me a chance. I grabbed my tools and headed toward the main reactor. The closer I got the more I could feel my skin pealing off my body. I dropped down into the tunnel where a wave hit my helmet off. There was no way for me to live in here but I pushed on to the reactor. I could hear the cooling tower next to it erupt like a volcano. I took out my tools but everything was melted already I took off my gloves and hand moved all the valves to release pressure “CYTREX ARE YOU CRAZY WE HAVE TO GO YOU CAN’T SAVE HER SHE’S GONE WE HAVE TO GO!!!!!!” Marvin grabbed my arm “I wont let my child die!” “She’s dead we have to go!”
